SO CALGARY COMIC AND ENTERTAINMENT EXPO 2012. I went down to Calgary and stayed with my sister and her boyfriend for the weekend, which was nice regardless. they (mostly my sister) helped me out with looking more female, which kinda required buying stuff. still, I looked good!

the con itself was… terrifyingly busy. way too many people. when you’re going girlmode in a huge con, it’s… well it SHOULD be terrifying but somehow it wasn’t? the people cosplaying kind of helped me feel more at ease

also I never got any comments except for one guy by my sister’s booth (SHAMELESS PLUG FOR THE CALGARY BRONYCON) who wondered if I was a guy or a girl

moving on! most important were the people I met there, mostly from webcomics. in no particular order, shoutouts to ryan sohmer, lar desouza, david malki !, kate beaton, chris hastings, ryan north, and jeph jacques for being really nice people! if I forgot someone I apologize, I’m tired and stressed

(extra props to mr. malki ! for letting me hug him. that day was marked by wonder. *shot*)

and extra shoutouts to some awesome artists, lainenyah and k. jaxonne! they made furries for me, and for that I salute them

basically, the weekend was incredibly fun (and expensive!) and I can’t wait for next year’s con so I can hug malki again >_> PREPARE YOURSELF, MR. EXCLAMATION POINT

Argentina JUST PASSED a groundbreaking gender identity bill!!!

From now on, people will be able to change the name and gender on their ID without needing psychiatric permission or any body modifications. Furthermore, anyone who does want hormones or surgery will be able to access them for free through the public and private health system.

It was passed unanimously today by the Senate

but I started playing Animal Crossing again lately. (City Folk, the Wii one)

but basically Calgary was SO MUCH FUN.

I haven’t shared really any info about my world yet but I kinda feel like it now! tl;dr it’s a world based on dreams with constant change but a surprising number of constants, like money, language, math, etc.
